The all American culture.
by: Dani Garon
I define American culture as normal but I know that a lot of people don’t think that they think there culture is normal. American culture is different we eat different things, we dance different, we talk different we dress different and that is all about the culture of America. The things we eat are different because most families eat pizza or some have home cooked meals like pasta but it depends all on what how the parents were raised. We dance different we sometimes dance alone instead of doing the something that someone else is doing. We talk different most Americans speak English. Other countries might speak in a different language or sometimes have a different accent even other parts of the USA have a different accent then Michiganders. We dress different in different cultures like India they were saris and in American we usually were jeans and a t-shirt. I think American culture is just made up of a whole bunch of different cultures not just one and I think that’s great because it means that our country can love and excepted one another for who they are even if they believe different things and that’s what makes me proud to live in this country.
HOT!!!
My culture is different from everyone else no one has the same culture. This is mine. I was raised a loving home. My family is the kind of family that enjoys spending time with each other and sitting at the table for dinner with lots of home cooked meals including my grandma’s secret recipes. She makes this meal called hot and the only reason it is called hot is because when my brother was little my grandma made a meal and since my brother was the first born child he was the first child to eat it so he took a bite and said HOT!! From then on it was called hot, that’s part of our culture, in some other family they might have a food at home that they eat as often as we eat hot. It’s a simple thing but its part of my culture. Same with every family in the world they have a different culture than the person right next door because of their grandparents and ancestors. So my culture is different because I grew up in Canada and the united states and the person sitting right next to me will have a different culture than me maybe they grew up in Ohio or Texas or maybe even France so whoever it is has a different culture than me and I love that because it makes me different from everyone else.
